Description of role – Branch Manager – NEW BRANCH
Monday – Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager to join a family run Insulation business who specialise within general haulage and pallet network operations.
We are seeking a Branch Manager to open and lead a NEW BRANCH, being responsible growth and day-to day running of Sales and Operations Teams.
The Candidate:
- Experience of working in a similar environment, ideally in an insulation distribution company or Builder’s Merchants
- Experience of managing a team
- Strong relationship building skills, with experience of dealing with a wide range of customers
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills and Attention to Details
- Experience working with multiple departments and a fast-paced environment
- Be Customer Service focused and have a proven track record for Customer Excellence
- Experience in using Intact computer system (desirable)
- Positive and a can do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in Merchant, Logistic, Supply Chain Industry (desirable)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The role of a Branch Manager is to achieve outstanding performance in your branch, this includes both driving customer sales and developing brilliant people.
- Ensuring your customers receive brilliant customer service
- Managing your team well to get the best out of each person
- Building on branch sales and profits
- Having overall accountability for making sure that the branch maintains high operating standards
- Generating new customers
- Training your team, and ensuring their product knowledge is relevant and up to date
- Managing your stock effectively and properly utilising your vehicles • Ensuring all mandatory training is completed and our branch is a safe place to work
- Manging and co-ordinating the branch stocktakes
- Any other duties as required
