A fast growing full-service law firm, is currently seeking an Estate Planning Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Columbia, MD office. Candidates must possess 3 or more years of successful administrative support working as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary in an Estates & Trusts practice. Primary Administrative Responsibilities: Scheduling, managing calendars, opening new client files, letters of correspondence, client and Court telephone & email communication, credit card coding and other internal processes. Responsibilities include: · Editing estate planning documents (entering attorney changes, typing revisions, checking spacing and formatting). · Coordinating executed estate planning documents to be sent to clients. · Familiarity with standard estate planning forms and legal documents (power of attorney, wills, advanced directive, trusts, certificate of service, subpoenas, etc.) · Organizing and safely-handling client personal documents, financial asset information and originals · Editing litigation documents/pleadings (entering attorney changes, typing revisions, checking spacing and formatting). · Creating of trial binders and organizing discovery materials · Directly meet and communicate with clients, attend client signings and meetings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2017, Adobe, Intapp, NetDocs, MDEC E-filing.
• Strong production skills with ability to produce accurate work product when formatting documents, inputting data, editing, copying, scanning and transmitting text, data and graphics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent client service skills with proven record of building effective relationships with both internal and external clients.
Salary range
$55,000.00 to $65,000.00
